Biography

The room behind her is doing the rest. On the right, white venetian blinds filter a flat daylight and a vase of flowers stands in front of them, hydrangeas and daisies in a textured pot. On the left, the wall is dark grey brown and holds a framed still life of bottles and glasses, with a few leaves below it and the edge of a bed or sofa at the bottom of the frame. The light comes in from the window and runs down her left side, and the shadows stay soft. Three textures share the frame: leather, skin, glass.

Maya is two open syllables; Kendrick closes on a hard consonant and lands with more weight. The pair sounds like a name chosen for a marquee, short enough to remember and sharp enough to carry. The variant spelling adds a letter and moves the entire record with it, which is why both are listed here rather than one. This page collects the name, both spellings, the field, the profile link and the portrait in six languages. It is independent, it stays on the professional record, and it makes no claim about her private life or about being her official site.
